      Journalism Jobs - January 8

Emap has posted some new jobs today. The publisher is looking for a producer and a presenter for their broadcasting department. They also need a subeditor for Mother and Baby magazine and a subeditor and a researcher for WSGN.

On Journalism.co.uk, an insurance magazine needs a senior news reporter (£20k), as does environmental website letsrecycle.com. Gardening Which? needs a researcher (£22-24k) and euromoney needs a staff writer.

Reuters has advertised on that site for a loans correspondent and Bloomberg has posted a giant pile of jobs (as they do from time to time).

Working Title Films has advertised on the Careers Group for an intern.

And a soon-to-launch personal finance magazine is looking for writers, via Gumtree.

On Hold the Front Page, Press Gang News is looking for a subeditor. And London Media Press is looking for a tabloid/paparazzi photographer -- tho whether that qualifies as real journalism is up to you.

Recruiter PFJ has advertised on the Guardian jobsite for a news reporter with a year of experience for a retail B2B (£20-21k).

Also on the Guardian, something called Current TV is advertising several different television production jobs. Sounds pretty cool.

On Jobsite, there're adverts for a web editor/journalist and an investigative reporter (£20-22k) for a weekly business publication -- "would suit a 2nd jobber, or a 1st jobber who has good journalistic training".

Something called groundreport.com is looking for a freelance journalist (paid) via Craigslist.

Centaur's Design Week is looking for a reporter. At NatMags, Country Living needs an editorial assistant and handbags.com needs a fashion editor.

Haymarket's GP newspaper is looking for a deputy medical features editor while the Brand Republic website is looking for a reporter.

And does anyone out there have info on the Guardian trainee scheme? I've had a few people ask me about it, but haven't got a clue myself. Any details would be much appreciated; email jjobslondon[at]hotmail[dot]com or just leave a comment...
