      Journalism Jobs - January 16

PFJ has advertised on JobSite for an online news editor (£26-29k) for a human resources B2B.

On Journalism.co.uk, the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining is looking for a web content manager. The very nice folks at Heren Energy down in Greenwich are looking for an energy markets reporter with languages (other than English, obviously).

Over on the Guardian jobsite, TNT Magazine are looking for a staff writer. PFJ has one for a publications editor for a medical publisher (£20-25k) and a production editor (£26-30k) for an "energy information provider".

The Lancet needs an assistant editor with a science degree.

Current affairs publishing house Gibson Square has advertised on the Career Group for a postgrad intern.

Newsquest are looking for a trainee reporter (£14k) for the News Shopper, based in Orpington.

Archant need a subeditor for the Newham Recorder.

NatMag has a few up on their site. Scroll down to see these: Cosmopolitian needs an editorial assistant, as does Men's Health; Company needs a temporary editor and a deputy fashion editor; Real People needs an assistant editor; and House Beautiful needs a senior subeditor.

IPC's Uncut has an opening for a music reviews editor. And Nuts needs a subeditor. Do they have great names for their magazines or what?

No Schmooze and Booze for February -- Helen has the nerve to take a vacation -- but number five will be March 13, so mark it on your calenders. And in April, they'll be holding News and Booze, an event just for journalists. Take that, PR people!
