      Journalism Jobs - January 26

It's like the battle of the red-top subeditor training schemes: The Sun just announced there's on HoldtheFrontPage, while check out Wednesday's post for the Mail's program. Local Government Chronical is looking for a (fully-trained, presumably) subeditor (£24.5).

On Journalism.co.uk, Haymarket's Horticulture Week is looking for a reporter. Argus need a global energy markets reporter. And Infrastructure Journal online is looking for a reporter.

Informa need an editor for some mobile communications publications.

On Gumtree, EMMA online are again looking for researchers/writers -- given they only pay expenses, that might be why they advertise so much. A new contemporary classical music magazine is looking for writers.

From the Guardian job site... Efinancial Careers need an online production editor and an online writer/content manager (£40k).

JobSite has an advert for an online web editor (as opposed to an offline web editor?) and another for a writer/subeditor for Sport Business Group (so specifically vague...).

IPC's Horse and Hound -- yes, Kelly, they do indeed exist -- need a picture editor.

Centaur's The Lawyer needs a senior city reporter. NatMag's Best needs a senior subeditor.

Archant need journalists for their Docklands operations, and also have a few old openings in London and more jobs across the UK, so check out their site here.

And I just got the Gorkana update in my inbox -- how's that for timing! Anyway, they've got a few new and shiny ones, and a billionty-and-a-half on their site. If you haven't registered, you're missing out. And, a moron. (Sorry, I've had too much tea today. Makes me hyper.)

Uh... anyway. According to their mailout, they have new job listings from Airline Business, who need a features editor; CriticalEYE, who need a reporter and a better name; Good Holiday Magazine who need a junior designer/artworker/journalist and content for their California issue; and Press Gazette is still looking for work experience people.
