      Journalism Jobs - December 12

If you want to get into financial journalism, Standard and Poor's MarketScope is advertising some six-month internships on journalism.co.uk. Not sure if they're paid, but probably.

Another financial publication is looking for a bond markets reporter. And Haymarket's Human Resources magazine needs a deputy editor.

Sick of London? Go subedit in the Bahamas. (I'm in Canada right now -- that's a dream I can embrace.) HoldtheFrontPage have some more across the UK, too.

On CWJobs, a website needs a web editor with techie skills (£15/hour).

If you speak Punjabi and want to work in radio, there's a job for a radio production manager (£18) on the Guardian site for you. And Chrysalis Radio needs a broadcast journalist with a year of journalism experience.

On the Gorkana mailout, new website financialworldonline.co.uk has launched and is looking for contributors. Email Denise Smith on dsmith@ifslearning.com.

JobsIn has an advert for an online and reference editor (£25k).

Jobs4Journalists has a listing from recruiters PFJ for an assistant editor for some non-profit magazines (21k).

On MediaUK (good place to look for radio jobs), something called Trafficlink is looking for an editor. Something called Koink.co.uk needs freelance talk radio producers. And an entertainment news website needs a journalist. And Sunrise radio needs a broadcast journalist and two trainees. And Dead Air UK is launching in January and needs presenters.

PFJ has advertised on JobSite for a subeditor on a B2B tech site.

Craigslist has an advert looking for online game reviewers (paid) and travel writers (unpaid).

Helen has sent out an email about the next Schmooze and Booze networking event. It will be January 10 in Soho. The last one was great, so don't miss it (tho I will, as I'll still be freezing in the wilds of Canada).
