      Journalism Jobs - December 11

Get a cup of tea and a cookie, it's a loooooooong post today. And here I was thinking December'd be slow...

On Journalism.co.uk, Emap's Heating and Ventilating News needs a news editor (£30-32k, in Croyden). The Let's Recycle website is looking for a senior reporter with at least two year's experience (£23k).

And if you've always wanted to work in trash TV, the Trisha Goddard show (based in Norwich) is hiring researchers and assistant producers -- no experience necessary.

Got a copy of an ezine called H in my inbox. Not much to say about the rest of the content, but there's some good freelance listings. To subscribe (free of course), email ezine@grantovich.com with "subscribe" in the subject line. If any of you want the current copy of the magazine, which has more detail for the following jobs as well as subscription info, email me at jjobslondon@hotmail.com and I'll forward it to you.

In it, Bookshelf Boyfriend are (still-- some of these are Gorkana repeats) looking for writers and photographers -- email contribute@bookshelfboyfriend.com. Soccer International is looking for football writers -- email jobs@soccerinternational.co.uk.

A copywriting business is looking for freelance writers (£9/hour). Send CV and sample writing to Emily Hill at info@writemysite.co.uk. Elan Money need freelance writers (unpaid) -- samia.rahman@elanmoney.com.

Something called The Ivy Group need freelance writers, editors, proof readers, Americanizers and indexers -- email your details to applications@ivy-group.co.uk.

If you speak Mandarin, German or French and have science skills, an internet publisher is looking for part-time and freelance staff -- email your CV to arif@selectscience.net.

And another publisher called Bernan Press need freelance people for research, editorial, indexing, and production services -- send your CV to bpress@bernan.com.

And magazine publishing house Hachette and Filipacchi are looking for work experience people. Send your details/CV to:

It's Monday, so here's some from the Guardian jobsite...

Informa's Scrip Pharmaceutical magazine is still (I posted this last week, I think) looking for reporters.

This is super cool: TalkBalk Thames is recruiting for an assistant story editor to work on The Bill -- "role would suit someone with administrative experience who has a proven passion for TV drama".

Book publisher Athena Press need an admin assistant; Tower Business Communications need a publishing assistant (£18k).

A gardening magazine is looking for a deputy production editor (£25-28k). An online investment publication has an opening for a chief reporter (£22-25k).

      Recruiters PFJ need a markets reporter (£26-30k), a news editor on a B2B (£26-30k) and an editor on a financial B2B (£28-32k).

PFJ have also advertised on LondonCareers.net for a subeditor on a business publication, and on Press Gazette for a writer for a travel website, among others.

On JobSite, someone's looking for night-shift proof readers. A B2B needs a subeditor with Quark skills. Some other company also needs a subeditor.
