      Journalism Jobs - November 2

On the Guardian, Melcrum need an online writer (£25k). Sit-Up are looking for a presenter (£25k) -- what is this, Bridget Jones?

IPC's NME is looking for a deputy editor and their Nuts/Loaded websites need a picture assistant.

A new online music magazine emailed me -- well, the people who make it emailed me -- saying they're looking for reporters/journalists for unpaid work experience. The site, which focuses on unsigned bands, looks pretty decent. Apply by cover letter to: editorial@musiconair.biz. They're also looking for web designers.

And, if you're a working journalist, Meida Bistro are holding a London event on November 14th.
RSVPs are required ( www.ersvp.com/reply/london) or email for more details:mailto:events@mediabistro.com They do add, however: "This event is for full-time media professionals only. Sorry, no interns/students ... All guests must be approved."

      Slow day today... More tomorrow!
