      Journalism Jobs - August 8

On the Guardian jobsite, recruiter Media Contacts are looking for a subeditor with two years' experience for a global security and law enforcement publisher (£22k). And Recruit Media are searching for a freelance food editor for a magazine (£140/day).

Press Gazette has a job listed for an experienced markets reporter for a business-to-business publication (£25-35k).

Journalism.co.uk has a posting from Which?, who need an assistant editor -- you'll need a bit of experience for this one. And there's another job for a business features writer based in Surrey.

English PEN need a fundraising intern, via Careers Group.

BBC World Service needs an assistant producer.

Journalismjobs.com have a job listing from Dow Jones, who are looking for an energy markets reporter, preferably with experience, but "recent graduates in a related subject and with language skills will also be considered".

A few on JobSite... A legal publishing firm needs a production assistant (17k), and someone on the south coast is looking for editorial assistants and publishing assistants.

And Future have a job opening for a staff writer/online assistant at Home Entertainment Week magazine.

Gumtree has a cool sounding one for an editor for a property publication (18-24k).

Sorry for the delay on the jobs postings lately; looking for a new flat is eating up my internet time. This city is ridiculous for housing, especially when you're as poorly-paid as an entry-level journalist...
