      Journalism Jobs - August 21

It's Monday, so here's a pile from the Guardian jobsite...

The Times Educational Supplement needs an online community editor as well as sub editors and a reporter.

A Thompson unit needs entry-level online content editors. The Journal of Joint and Bone Surgery has an opening for an editorial production assistant.

Recruiters PFJ are looking for an assistant editor on a B2B for someone with two years' experience (19-21k), as well as junior and senior subeditors (20-28k).

Titan need editors for film and tv magazines -- must have an interest in Star Trek and Buffy. Man, I loved that show.

And the Guardian itself has a one-year traineeship for a new photographer. Very cool sounding.

On Craigslist, some research firm needs an editor/proofreader, as does a marketing student.

Gumtree has an advert from arts/ent magazine Hello London for a work experience placement (unpaid).

On Journalism.co.uk, Bloomberg needs a french tv reporter, and Future's GamesMaster needs a staff writer.

Careers Group has an advert for a Russian text editor.

And on Holdthefrontpage, Local Government Chronical is looking for a news editor. The South London Guardian/Surrey Comet and Richmond and Twickenham Times group are looking for a subeditor.

Associated News (ie, the Mail) are on the lookout for an online communities assistant.

      More tomorrow!
