      Journalism Jobs - August 28

Not much on the Guardian jobsite, despite the Mondayness...

Datascope recruitment are looking for a subeditor (£21k). Rose Inc need temporary media admin workers.

Onelife, "Land Rover's award-winning travel and adventure magazine", needs an editorial assistant.

The Daily Mirror needs subeditors for their features department.

And Business Monitor International also needs a subeditor.

...but good stuff on other sites...

Journalism.co.uk have a cool-sounding one from Decision News Media, for a trainee science reporter. They also have one for a trainee business reporter, which is obviously less cool.

Dow Jones are looking for a equity markets reporter. And Emap have a job opening for a reporter at their weekly magazine, Health Services Journal.

Holdthefrontpage have a trainee reporting job, at the Hendon Times in North London.

On TotalJobs, financial site infranews are looking for an editorial assistant. According to them: "The position is an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking a way into journalism."

Craigslist has a listing from yet another new London-based online publication about the arts. They are looking for writers; they say they pay, but don't count on much. And some website needs young, hip writers to work for free. Because that's what young, hip writers do. Apparently.
