      Job Update - June 14

There's a posting on Craigs List for travel writing for Eastern Europe. If you've been thru Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary recently, they'll pay you 100 euros for 1000-1500 words.

If you're looking to break into journalism and get some training, Archant Norfolk and Suffolk -- obviously not in London -- are looking for trainee journalists. For the Norfolk posting: "Successful applicants will attend the Press Association-Trinty Mirror training course lasting 16 weeks, starting in January next year and based in Newcastle." The Suffolk posting requires you to be "qualified to at least the NCTJ pre-entry qualification".

And, the Guardian Graduate Recruitment Fair is next week, June 21 and 22. I've never really been to one of these, so if anyone does go, let me know what you thought of it... Details here. Check out the exhibitors' list and maybe preregister, too.

Things are a bit slow today, so that's it. Do note that I haven't throughly checked the major recruiters or Press Gazette, as there's just too many... So keep an eye on those sources, too.
