      Job Roundup - June 5

A billion on the Guardian over the weekend... and some are rather interesting. A Japanese paper is looking for a London-based assistant correspondent. TV station FIVE is hiring... "various". And if you're into travel journalism, Insight Guides needs a researcher and desk editors.

Research Research (great great name name) needs an editorial assistant, sounds like a good first job for a generalist, offering writing, editing and layout work(£15-17k).

The Guardian also has postings for a markets reporter, a general companies reporter and a copy editor (3 year's experience) for Dow Jones. Still on Gjobs, and still with finance, Euromoney is again pushing their graduate opportunities -- this is pretty much an ongoing posting. Lexis Nexis is looking for an editor and a sub. And WaterAid needs a sub for their website (£22k).

Still on Gjobs, HM Treasury needs a publications officer for production work (£18-23k) and a publications assistant (£15-19k). Recruit Media has a posting for a layout designer with a couple years' experience (£16-24k). And publishing firm Haymarket needs a sub with a year's experience for a car mag. Ambassadors Theatre Group needs a production assistant.

On Journalism.co.uk there's a posting for an editor/commissioning editor for a magazine regarding classical sheet music. They also have a posting for freelance travel writers for whatsonwhen.

That's it for today... More tomorrow!
