      Back next week!

So I thought I better post on here, as some of you seem to be worried I'm dead. (I'm not.) The past two-ish months I've been too busy/sick/drunk/Christmased to have time to update this, or even to respond to the very kind comments/emails/facebookings I've had in response to my lack of posts. (Sorry, that was rather rude of me, but things have been really ridiculous.)

Either way, I'll be back at it in the new year, which is like, next week. Crazy, eh?

So Happy New Year, and I'll find y'all jobs next week, m'kay?

      - Nicole

      Internship

This may seem vaguely familiar, but whatever:

IT PRO is looking for an intern. You’ll have news writing experience and know your way around a computer. An interest in or knowledge about technology and business is not necessary, but would clearly be a bonus, as would any other skills such as photography.

      Students/recent graduates are preferred.

You won’t get paid, but we will cover travel expenses within travel zones one to four (and take you to the pub now and then, too).

You will get experience working at a major publishing company, however, and we won’t just have you make the tea and answer phones, either. We’ll let you write and give you proper feedback on what you do write, so you’ll walk out of our shiny offices in Goodge Street with a few strong pieces for your portfolio.

IT PRO is a technology and business site. It’s part of Dennis Publishing, which is also responsible for titles such as Maxim, The Week and Viz.

We’re looking for interns with a good sense of fun who can commit to a minimum of three days a week for at least three weeks this summer. We're also looking for students who can commit to a day or two a week during term time.

Please contact Nicole with your CV, a news writing sample (just one, please) and a cover letter with your availability and a bit about yourself to nicole_kobie@dennis.co.uk as soon as possible if you’re interested in this slot.
