      Journalism Jobs - August 2

Wait -- it's August? When the hell did that happen? I nearly wrote "April."

Anyway... The Careers Group has an advert from Central Banking Publications, who need an editorial assistant (£24k). Venture Match needs an assistant web producer for writing and editing listings and reviews (£18k).

Something called 400 Magazine -- lifestyle, culture, etc -- has advertised on Gumtree for staff across the board, including subeditors and writers. Videology needs writers to review and interview about music videos. An interesting sounding website called World Reviewer is offering unpaid work experience, which could lead to full-time work. And a universities website is looking for a journalist (18k).

Over on GorkanaPR the last few days, HF's Sugar is looking for a deputy editor, the Lawyer needs news reporters, New Media Markets needs... something, and customer publisher Redwood is looking for a chief sub and a staff writer/reporter. Credit Today needs freelance subeditors, Carbon Finance newsletter needs an editor, and the Metal Pages -- not music, sadly -- needs an online editor. Components in Electronics needs an editor and features editor, and some random company is looking for freelance quiz writers.

On HoldtheFrontPage, the Press Association needs an associate features editor.

Over on Journalism.co.uk, Crain are advertising a ton of jobs for their launch in Manchester. Dow Jones need a spot reporter in London. An ngo web firm needs a journalist for three days a week to write from home.
