      Last minute journalism contest!

      A month-long "X-factor" style competition called Press Cadets is being advertised on Press Gazette... with a deadline of today.

      Prize is a year-long trainee job at Press Gazette worth 18k. Application requires your CV, covering letter, 300 words on why you want to be a journalist. Deadline is strictly today, but there's no time limit and it's emailable... so get cracking!
