      Jobs Roundup

Future publishing has an Editorial Assistant position for Junior magazine. Looking for someone with NCTJ training and some magazine experience.

Emap has posted an opening for a news reporter for H&V, a building services trade magazine. Must have one or two years experience reporting. Deadline is May 19.

Lots of new postings on Guardian Unlimited Jobs today. The LSE has a listing for an Editorial Assistant. And Emap is advertising a six-month maternity leave sub-editor position for their Retail Week publication.

If you're into teen publications -- or can fake it -- Hatchette Fillipacchi is looking for a sub for their mag, Sugar. Campden Publishing needs a sub for Nursing in Practice. Wilminton Media needs an Editorial Assitant for a cosmetics publication; must be fluent in German. The same firm, but different publication, needs a reporter.

Still on GUJ, Real Recruitment is seeking a Publishing Production Assistant with a year of experience. And recruiters WorkStation are looking for a subeditor.

Journalism.co.uk has a posting for a News Content Coordinator. Whatever that is, it sure doesn't pay well.

Inspired Selection has sent a few to my inbox, including ELT Editors (ref: 3608), for anyone with TEFL or EFL experience, or basic educational publishing experience. They also have a new job for a Production Assistant (ref: 3608) for a graduate with some experience.

And on Gumtree, the Sherlock Holmes museum has reposted their ad for someone to "help reproduce various books and articles from the Victorian era for publication." They do want your photo with your CV, so if you've applied already and not heard back, they may think you're ugly...

I found your blog today on craigslist & I really appreciate it. In fact, I appreciate it so much that I added it as an rss feed on my google homepage. however, with the title of many of your posts simply titled 'jobs roundup,' i hard to tell when you've posted something new. Could you please consider dating the titles of your posts? Thanks - Keep up the great work.
