      Journalism Jobs - July 10

So, I've been trying to find a more clever/cleverer way of updating this site, so that when I get lazy, you still get content. Haven't figured out a way to automate things yet, but I have realised that this platform (ie blogger) sucks. Might be moving to my shiny own domain -- any advice on good platforms, ie: word press, movable type, or hosting services?

Enough of that geeky web talk. Here're some jobs.

Over on Gorkana, magazine Good Holiday Ideas needs an intern.

On HoldtheFrontPage, the fantabulous South London Press needs a part-time senior reporter. Archant Life need a photographer. And a Hounslow paper is looking for a senior reporter.

Journalism.co.uk has an advert from the Telegraph group, who are looking for production staff. Centaur's Public Private Finance needs an editorial assistant. Red Bee need listings writers (19.5k) as usual. CityWire needs a funds reporter (25-27k -- and you'll earn every penny). Melcrum need an editor, again.

Over on the Guardian this Media Monday, recruiters PFJ are looking for a features writer for a B2B, a technology editor, and a financial researcher. Hayward medical need a subeditor. A Bauer puzzle title needs a production assistant and an editorial assistant.

Observer needs a sport desk assistant -- but be warned, it's "not a route into journalism". Centaur needs a news editor for a recruitment magazine. TSL Education needs a reporter/features writer.

Time Out needs a deputy consumer editor, comedy editor and reception cover.

Emap's Construction News needs a reporter and an online editor. Haymarket have a pile too.

And don't forget, there's a Schmooze and Booze next week... And came across this freelancing site, with some good events.
