      Journalism Jobs - April 17

Do you ever wake up and just want to escape London and go somewhere nice, like maybe the French countryside? If that happened today, you're in luck. Some random agricultural/biosci publisher needs English writers for their France-based publications, via journalism.co.uk.

But if you're going to stick it out another day (or three), Infrastructure Journal needs a senior reporter/editor. And Animal Pharm -- great name -- is looking for an editor. The good folks at Crain need a technical reporter for a rubber magazine. And something called MyVillage is looking for contributors -- looks to be unpaid.

Over on Gumtree, a bit of work experience is on offer. Circle Publising is looking for a student to help out on their websites for their active travel -- think diving and stuff -- publications. And an online music magazine is also offering work experience placements.

On Craigslist, a travel site called Fishers SOS is looking for paid contributors, while an ethical travel site is looking for paid bloggers ($40/week).

Jobs 4 Journalists has a bunch in Crawley, if you're willing to make the trek.

Over at Dennis, PC Pro need a reporter, their interactive section needs an editor, and Men's Fitness still needs that staff writer.

Emap's WGSN needs a knitwear associate editor. Yes, really. Pregnancy & Birth still needs an editorial assistant -- good first consumer job. And MEED -- which is apparently "the business and current affairs weekly for the Middle East and North Africa" -- needs a special reports editor.

Over on the JournoBiz Forums, Women's Own need freelancers for writing shifts. Email rachael_woolston [at sign] freelance [dot] ipcmedia [dot] com.

BBC needs a content producer for their intranet.

Gorkana has a few new ones up on their site -- again, i can't link directly, so go here and scroll. Real People and Good Housekeeping both need a deputy features editor, while the Sun Online is lookign for a TV editor. Money Marketing and dealReporter both need reporters. And That's Life! still needs that feature writer.

And I got an email from John over at Business Wire, asking me to highlight his advert for an editorial assistant. (link fixed) You know what that means -- he wants you to apply. So do it.
