      Journalism Jobs - March 12

Let's start Monday off with a bit of fantasy, shall we? On HoldtheFrontPage, a weekly paper in Turks & Caicos is looking for a sports/news reporter... But if you'd rather stay in stinky London, BaselAlert.com is again looking for an online editor and clickz.com need a news editor/writer.

The Careers Group has an advert from a security magazine for a writer/editor internship.

Recruiters Reilly have advertised on Gumtree for financial reporters/subeditors for newswires.

Over on Journalism.co.uk, recruiters Formula Won are looking for a comissioning editor for a travel site of some sort (£24k), an associate editor for energy markets (£30k) and a managing editor (£36k). Jane's Information Group need an aviation editor (£17k) and a technical content editor (£18k) and a content editor for the transport desk (£18k). And the weird folks at Pira are still looking for graduate reporters...

On the Guardian, a charity called Headliners is looking for someone to work on their journalism program. Hawker Publication's Black Beauty and Hair needs a production/subeditor (£21k).

Total TV Guide needs a picture researcher. A publishing company is looking for a publishing assistant, funnily enough.

Prison Radio Association needs a station manager. Women in Prison need a part-time magazine editor.

Titan, publishers of tv and film mags, need an editor.

The Economist needs a senior editor for their custom publishing department. The London Mathematical Society needs a part-time editorial assistant.

And as per usual, recruiters PFJ have a stack. They're looking for a reviews writer for a technology magazine (£25k), a senior reporter for a media B2B (£29k), a personal finance reporter (£22k), a newswire editor (£40k) and a features editor for a well-known music consumer mag -- gee, I wonder what that might be? At just £29k, too.

IPC's Woman and Home needs a creative director while Shooting Times and Country magazine needs a news editor.

The ICA is looking for a production editor (£22-25k). Haymarket needs a director of environmental publishing. Which? need a head of money research (whereas I just need money, let alone a head to research it).

Contract publishers Grist need a business editor. The Local Government Association needs a reporter and a web content editor.

The Illustrated London News Group is looking for a senior subeditor.

On JobsIn, some research group needs an editorial assistant.

And the BBC is looking for an assistant content producer, a deputy editor and a broadcast assistant.
