      Gumtree has an advert for freelance/temporary German-speaking writers/researchers.

      Over on the Guardian jobsite, recruiter PFJ is looking for a publishing assistant for a rental property magazine (20k). KP Publishing are looking for a web editor.

      Australian magazine TNT is looking for an editor. Alchemy Media needs a deputy editor (23-25k) for a leisure title.

      GorkanaPR has a few new adverts from Financial News, who are looking for a subeditor, m&a reporter and a deputy editor.

      Craigslist has an advert for a blogger/student to write/blog about mobile technology.

      Archant need a news editor for a London paper. Hachette Filipachi need a chief sub/production editor for Real Homes.

      Haymarket have relaunched their website, and are looking for a part-time senior reporter for Direct Response, a senior reporter for Media Week, and a reporter for Brand Republic. PR Week needs a production editor, while Media Week needs a deputy news editor.

      Do you have any advice on how to excel in interviews? I seem to get through the first round of applications ok. But it never seems to get further than that.

      I have a Distinction in magazine journalism from Cardiff Uni so should have a good base to start from.
