      Journalism Jobs - May 18

On Journalism.co.uk, Cavendish are looking for a "bright graduate" to work as a subeditor. Dod's parliamentary publishers need a reference editor (23k) while recruiter Formula Won are looking for an editor for consumer magazines (22k).

Hold the Front Page has an advert from Advance Media Information for a news and politics researcher. A newspaper in Slough needs a senior subeditor.

Over on Gumtree, the International Tax Review is looking for writers/researchers for the summer.

On CWJobs, a science website needs an editor (28-32k).

Over on Gorkana -- that land to which I can not link directly -- a Lawyer magazine is looking for a junior reporter, while The Engineer needs a news reporter. A new NatMag's celeb/beauty mag (because we need another!) needs an editor of some sort. BizMedia are looking for a production editor, while Top Sante needs a senior sub and a features editor. The Independent needs a deputy home news editor. This Is Money needs a web journalist.

And, a couple of work experience placements on offer on Gorkana. The British Journal of Photography needs interns, as does Press Gazette -- if you happen to apply for that last one, make sure to mention this site... Just saying.

Over on the Guardian, Sage need commissioning editors. Xchange team are looking for a web editor. Visit London are looking for an editorial producer/subeditor (26k).

Craigslist has an advert from EHow, looking for a freelancer with fast turnaround. A London blog is looking for bloggers (£5/post -- if only I got paid that much. Or anything.)

Was emailed details of a reporting job (19-20k) at Mortgage Solutions:

Market leading weekly magazine MSortgage Solutions is looking for a bright and adaptable reporter to join the news desk. The ideal candidate will be a creative self-starter who will be expected to write daily news stories on the magazine's website, as well as generating off-diary stories for the magazine itself. In addition, they will also be required to write regular analytical features, conduct interviews with chief executives of some of the UK's largest lending institutions, and attend industry events, such as trade shows and conferences in the UK and Europe.

Send covering letters and CVs to andreaDOTtryphonidesATincisivemediaDOTcom and benDOTmarquandATincisivemediaDOTcom.

And holy awesome autosave batman! Blogger finally introduced an autosave feature on post drafts. So no more shall I lose posts to careless typing and shitty broadband connections and stalled computers... This is a day that shall be remembered and celebrated for years to come.
