      Egmont needs junior designers.

      LexisNexis is looking for an editor, an online editor, and a technical tax writer.

      The Royal Academy of Arts needs a web editor.

      Something called Quatro Magazines is looking for an art editor, an assistant editor, a project editor and interns.

      The Guardian itself needs a deputy literary editor.

      On Craigslist, an "urban hipster" magazine needs writers ($.20/word). Student Traveller magazine is looking for writers, and say they pay, but they want you to post to their blog as application -- sounds fishy. And yet another lifestyle magazine wants freelance writers.

      Journalism Jobs - Weekend Edition

      On journalism.co.uk, Informa's Insurance Day needs a reporter while Euromoney's International Tax Review needs an editor. If that's just too exciting for you, try this one: a geosciences publication needs two work-from-home editors (£16-26k). The good folks at Metropolis need an editorial assistant -- a good first position, they say.

      HoldtheFrontPage has an advert from Informa for an editor on a tax publication. And the News Shopper needs a trainee reporter -- it pays a whole £14k. What the hell. How can you live on that in this city? Do any of you get paid that crappily? If so, no wonder you're on here looking for another job...

      On The Careers Group, an online gambling magazine is looking for students to write freelance for free. And the Fabian Society is offering a publishing internship in April to June.

      Some random recruiter is looking for an editorial assistant for a newspaper.

      And now onto the Guardian jobsite... Wilmington need a journalist for what sounds like a tech magazine.

      Recruiters Career Moves need a production assistant (£17-19k) for childrens' book publishers. Recruit Media are looking for a subeditor (£30k) for a large publisher. PFJ are looking for a subeditor (£18-19k) with a year of experience.

      Sweet & Maxwell need a web content editor for their legal publications.

      Okay, there are a ton of jobs on Jobs4Journalists, but I can't tell which are new and their email and signin function doesn't work. But go check that site out, if you haven't already.

      NatMag's Cosmo needs a senior subeditor.

      Haymarket's women's glossy Eve needs an assistant features editor and an editorial assistant.

      GorkanaPR updated their jobslist yesterday -- sign in there to see these. Newspapers the Daily Star and Daily Telegraphy both need staff, and the BBC Business News need a freelance production assistant. Colchester-based Aceville Publications are offering work experience spots. Celebs on Sunday are offering paid fashion internships. Men's mag Front are looking for freelance writers and an editorial assistant.

      BBC needs a broadcast journalist, assistant producers and a day researcher.

      If you're Canadian and a journalist, Network Canada is having a media event in mid-March.

      Journalism Jobs - February 22

      On journalism.co.uk, the institute of materials, minerals and mining are looking for a news editor and an editorial assistant. Emap's Health Services Journal needs a news editor. CMP need a news reporter for Chemist and Druggist. And the NME is looking for a features editor.

      On the Careers Group, a publisher needs a production assistant (£16.5k).

      Pira have again advertised for freelance graduate reporters, this time on HoldtheFrontPage.

      The Guardian jobsite has an advert from KP Publishers for an editorial assistant at a science publisher. XchangeTeam are looking for a news editor for a public sector publication. And Vitesse Media needs a researcher.

      The BBC needs a broadcast assistant for garden shows.

      Journalism Jobs - February 21

      On journalism.co.uk, technology website ZDNet needs a subeditor. CNBC Europe needs a producer.

      The Careers Group has an advert from Enhance UK, who need a graduate who likes cycling for a position as an editorial assistant/web production assistant (£16-18k). Arts and education charity Cultural Cooperation needs volunteer journalists -- might be good for those of you needing a portfolio boost.

      Events website Spoonfed have advertised on Gumtree for an assistant music editor. Something called Freelance-Writers-UK is looking for -- you guessed it -- freelance writers.

      On HoldtheFrontPage, the National News Press Agency needs picture desk assistant/trainee photographers. Agency Barcroft Media need a trainee reporter.

      On the Guardian jobsite, recruiters Xchange Team are looking for newswire reporters. They also need a web editor (£130/day) and an online fashion writer (£20-25k) -- I think we've seen that one before.

      Future's T3 needs a deputy editor and an online editor. AP Info Services need an editorial assistant.

      Recruit Media need an online subeditor with a year of experience.

      If you speak French or German, KP Publishing are looking for a news/features journalist (£22k).

      PFJ have advertised on londoncareers.net for a subeditor on an economics B2B -- whatever that might be. They also need a healthcare subeditor.

      On Craigslist, a home theatre blog needs a blogger -- they say they pay 4$ per post.

      Informa need a production editor (link opens a .doc file).

      Centaur's Design Week needs a features editor. What the hell is "copy tasting"? Is that a typo or am I missing something?

      On that site, SPG Media need an editor (£24-27k) for their B2B titles. Website CareandHealth needs a web journalist (£30k). And out in Morden, tankstorage/biofuels magazines need a deputy editor (£22k) and an editor (£28-30k).

      Gumtree has an advert from a skincare company, looking for a freelance copywriter.

      New Statesman have added an events intership to their arts and editorial ones -- I want to make a joke about this, but the only person who would understand it wouldn't find it funny... So I'll behave.

      Action Sports Media are looking for a managing editor, an art editor, an online content editor and an editorial assistant.

      Pendragon need a legal (as opposed to illegal?) subeditor -- good for first jobbers.

      Emap's Architechture needs a news editor and an editor. Reed need an online content editor and an editorial assistant for New Scientist -- think I've posted that already, but here it is again.

      The powers that be have finally managed to sort out the interweb in my flat, so I can now post/look up porn from the comfort of my kitchen, my bedroom, hell -- my toilet, rather than the internet cafes I've been frequenting. This makes me very very happy.

      Moving along. On Journalism.co.uk, IPC's WebUser (ironic? synchronicity? who knows) needs a deputy editor. SPG Media need an online editor (£27k).

      And a rather fantastic one from HoldtheFrontPage, especially for all you wannabe-journos: the Telegraph is advertising a fast-track paid training program -- deadline is March 5.

      Newsquest's Richmond and Twickenham Times has an opening for a trainee reporter.

      On Gumtree, myvillage.com are looking for an editorial assistant.

      Jobs4Journalists have an advert for, funnily enough, a journalist at Wilmington Media for what sounds like a cosmetics b2b.

      On the Guardian jobsite, recruiters PFJ are looking for a healthcare subeditor (£22k-25k), a comissioning travel editor, a subeditor on a computer magazine and another subeditor for a tech publication.

      KP Publishing Personnel have one for an assitant editor for a global book publisher -- they say it's ideal for a graduate's first job in the sector. And, they're looking for a comissioning editor (£30-40k).

      Inspired Selection have an advert for a subeditor (£20-24k) for specialist healthcare journals.

      Time Out Singapore need a chief subeditor... obviously not based in London.

      On Journalism.co.uk, financial website BaseAlert -- or BaselAlert, actually -- needs an online editor.

      And from the Guardian jobsite... Charity action aid must've gotten some funding, as they're looking for a video producer, a website manager and a head of multimedia production (but not a foot?! -- okay, I think I'm funny.)

      William Reed's Restuarant magazine needs a designer and production editor.

      The Law Society's Gazette is looking for a reporter for mat leave cover (£34k) as well as subeditors (£34k).

      Publishers TSL Education are looking for a researcher, commissioning editors and a reporter.
