      Journalism Jobs - February 6

Emily from Elle emailed me to say Elle and ElleUK.com need fashion interns and techie type interns, respectively. Visit their website for details.

Journalism.co.uk has an advert from Fresh Produce Journal, who need a staff journalist (£16-18k). The Profile Group's Fashion Monitor is looking for a deputy editor (£24k).

CMP's Pulse needs a news editor and clinical features editor, while their Building Services Journal needs an assistant editor and their Chemist and Druggist needs a news reporter.

Bloomberg has again advertised a billion, for London and the rest of Europe. The list is here -- scroll away.

Something called Mash Media is looking for a journalist with two years of experience. Caspian needs an editor for B2B's (25-29k); Informa also needs an editor for an intellectual property magazine (£30k).

The slightly strange sounding Pira have again advertised for graduate reporters -- they advertise this a lot. Take that as you will.

Good Holiday Magazine is looking for freelance writers for their California issue. They also have an opening for a junior designer/artworker/journalist -- I'm not sure where they're based, and too lazy to look it up.

And RedBee Media is looking for a BBC listings writer (£19.5k).

On Gumtree, foodloversbritain.com is looking for an editorial assistant. A travel website needs a researcher (£16-18k).

Lots of regional jobs up on HoldtheFrontPage today, too... And, a Croydon newspaper needs a reporter.

Recruiters PFJ have advertised on TotalJobs for an online news editor (£26-30k) for a finance/insurance publisher.

They've also advertised on the Guardian jobsite for a web editor for a healthcare site (£26-30k).

Still on that site, Media Contacts are looking for an online editor (£28k).

MixMag clubbing magazine is still looking for an editor.

On Craigslist, a travel blog called Eurocheapo is looking for writers.

Haymarket's PRWeek needs a features writer. And What Hi-Fi? needs a test writer.

And Helen Grant has sent out her ezine again. Here're the good(ish) ones:

Mother and Baby magazine is looking for journalists to write comment for and against various parenting related topics (£75 for 200 words). Topics are: Teenage mums; older mums; breastfeeding a toddler; Elective caesareans; dummies; are babies boring; long hair for little boys; babies wearing jewellery; fashion for toddlers - has it gone too far; and smacking.

They're really pushing the limits on these, eh? Email elin.tough@emap.com if you want to get involved.

Lightload Lifestyle are looking for writers (unpaid). Email Tim Ellis at editor@lightloadllifestyle.com.

Academic publisher Zed Books need interns. Email Rosemary Taylorson at rosemary.taylorson@zedbooks.net.
